Catwalk to Canvas
KYIV
Viktoria Vorotina was born in Kyiv in Ukraine in 1988.
She was born a visualizer, as a toddler she was drawing hundreds of coconut palm-studded islands.
At age 15, VV started her modelling career and spent her first earnings on a huge canvas. Large wall art would become her trademark, taking her to exotic locales around the world.
Whilst studying intellectual property law at Ukraine’s top university, she spent her spare time with leading Eastern European Artists learning the fundamentals of painting. Van Gogh inspired her with the use of color and contrast. There is also some resemblance to the works of Jackson Pollack with a feminine stroke. Yet her own techniques in abstract expressionist movement are her personal signature, underpinned by a unique VV frame, used to anchor her canvasses. Before the age of 20, her paintings stated to appear at local fashion shows and live events.
POLAND
In 2009, Viktoria moved to Poland, where she worked on commissions for interior designers and private collectors. She perfected her method of creating bespoke art for a very specific clientele, to incorporate gemstones.
She became known for her uncanny ability to move seamlessly between concealed energies in a symphony of vibrant hues, sparkling luster and enigmatic vibes. With each client she provides a comprehensive, tailor-made approach, from examining birth charts to gemstone compatibility, bringing their surroundings, vibrations and aura into the mix. She then paints the unseen – “the revelatory artist”.
Her art therapy is called “Soul Making”.
KOH SAMUI
In 2018 she settled in Koh Samui, the “coconut” island of southern Thailand. Viktoria built an al-fresco studio, the bamboo roof adorned with hanging macrames, cotton hammocks and grass lampshades. It is here, that her paintings are exposed to monsoon rains or bake in the tropical heat. Her canvases are embraced by the elements of nature, a bamboo baroque, touched with a tantalizing blend of acrylic paint, sand stones, charcoal, enamel, gemstones and gold leaf.
Art Investors from Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand, have her artwork in luxury residences, upscale entertainment venues, restaurants and villas.
Viktoria is now collaborating with a well-known gallery in St Tropez and made solo exhibition in the main Art and Antique center of Thailand.
Viktoria reveals soul secrets in her art, enabling a journey of transformation.
She is an “revelatory artist” and no longer a “Viktoria Secret”
